Dr Bruce Lipton was a cell biologist at Stamford University. His amazing research proved that it's not our genes that determine who we are it's our environment and a big part of our environment is our beliefs. The new science of Epigenetics is revolutionising our understanding of the link between the mind and matter and the profound effect it has on our lives. Bruce recommends methods such as Psych-K as the quickest way to change unconscious beliefs. At Bounce Daily we are trained in this method and have helped many of our clients to create new empowering beliefs that support them having the future they really want to create rather than repeating unhelpful patterns of the past. Dr Joe Dispenza's a chiropractor by background has developed methods that draw on neuroscience and quantum physics. His advanced meditation methods have allowed people to reprogram their brains, heal illness and lead more fulfilled lives. Simone has specifically used his methods to help to clear Rheumatoid Arthritis from her body. His model of transformation and change has a profound effect when used consistently to change synapse connections in the brain and create habits to embed new beliefs and behaviour. Dr Joe was also featured in the films What the Bleep Do We Know and The Secret.

Since reading his book Learned Optimism over 15 years ago Simone has been interested in the field of Positive Psychology. Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths that enable individuals and communities to thrive. The field is founded on the belief that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best within themselves, and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play. Consciously and unconsciously she has integrated elements into her life such as meditation, the practise of reflecting each night on three things that she is grateful for, connecting with nature, moving her body with things like yoga and pilates and walks in nature, setting goals that are meaningful, ensuring that she connects with friends and family, making sure that she nurtures her creativity and makes time for singing, writing, drawing and learning guitar. These have all had a positive and profound impact on her life and she has integrated these methods into her coaching sessions to help her people she works with live more aligned fulfilling lives too.
Wim is internationally renowned for his countless ice endeavors that range from being up to his neck in a cylinder filled with ice cubes for over 90 minutes, swimming long distances under polar ice, running a marathon barefoot to climbing the Everest in nothing more than a pair of shorts. He is known as the the Iceman. His methods including breathing techniques, meditation and ice/cold exposure and have been scientifically proven to positively influence the autonomic nervous system and immune response.

In research done by the Heart Math Institute they found the heart acted as though it had a mind of its own and could significantly influence the way we perceive and respond in our daily interactions. In essence, it appeared that the heart could affect our awareness, perceptions and intelligence. Numerous studies have since shown that heart coherence is an optimal physiological state associated with increased cognitive function, self-regulatory capacity, emotional stability and resilience. Heart rate variability, or heart rhythms stood out as the most dynamic and reflective indicator of one’s emotional states and, therefore, current stress and cognitive processes.
The heart brain, communicates with and influences the cranial brain via the nervous system, hormonal system and other pathways. These influences affect brain function and most of the body’s major organs and play an important role in mental and emotional experience and the quality of our lives.
Depleting emotions such as frustration and overwhelm lead to increased disorder in the higher-level brain centers and autonomic nervous system and which are reflected in the heart rhythms and adversely affects the functioning of virtually all bodily systems.

NLP is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, United States in the 1970s. We draw on NLP techniques in our coaching and retreat products to help our clients clear limiting beliefs, decisions and past trauma.
The two premises of NLP:
The map is not the territory - As humans we can never really know reality as it's based on what our perception of reality is. These perceptions determine our behaviour and everyone's perceptions are different.
Life and our minds are systemic processes - the processes that take place within us and between us and our enviornments are systemic. Our bodies, societies and the universe form an ecology of complex systems and sub-systems all of which interact and mutually influence each other. It is not possible to completely isolate any part of the system from the rest of the system. Such systems are based on certain 'self organising' principles and naturally seek optimal states of balance or homeostasis.
The end goal is to create the richest map possible that respects the systems of life and nature and allows our perceptions to give us the greatest number of available choices. Excellence comes in having many choices. Wisdom comes in having many perspectives.
Hypnotherapy & Timeline Therapy
We use elements of both hypnotherapy and timeline therapy in our meditations coaching and workshops to help people let go of unhelpful patterns of the past and create conscious and unconscious shifts that will set them up for success in the future.
Hypnotherapy - used to create subconscious change in a patient in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviours or feelings.
Timeline Therapy - is a process that allows people to let go of negative emotions and limiting decisions from the past and uses imagination to create a compelling future that they want to create.
Both are useful in creating powerful shifts and eliminate beliefs or decisions that may have been holding people back for years.
